My best friend got engaged!!!!!!!

This has been such a great, great day!

I was asked to take some photos during this wonderful occassion and it was priceless.

She has been through so much and deserves the absolute best.  I'm so, so happy she found a wonderful man to share time and all eternity with.

Ok, so things had changed with work unexpectedly, but after some time to sort through it all, I feel really good about the new situation.  I decided I wasn't going to let a little rain ruin a perfect day.

(Also, eating dinner with friends always helps.)

I'm so lucky to call her my best friend.  The simpleness of spending time together, shopping, eating and just talking about everyday things makes me happy.   

When I grow up, I'll consider myself lucky if I can be as half as amazing as her one day.

Looking back at fond memories and of great friendships formed always makes me happy, especially when times are rough...

I am so blessed to still have friends like her in my life.

(and for listening, caring, and always putting up with my nonsense after all these years even when I don't deserve it!)

I honestly don't get what this obsession is all about, but that's probably because I'm not in that age group... go figure.  What makes me happy is seeing my friend tortured for her crazy "obsession" with him (ok maybe obsession is a strong word, but I still don't get it). 

Plus, hanging out with friends and laughing at each other is always a plus.

Leah works at McDonald's!!!
She is so pretty isn't she?? Who can look like that and work at McDonald's!?

Actually, she was just working for the night.  She was helping raise money for her school and I went to visit.  Her energy and enthusiasm for what she does inspires me to want to love what I do... (someday, still waiting for that opportunity).  
But watching her yell out orders was definitely entertaining!

Hanging out with my girlfriends and having one of those fantastic, much needed girl talks.  Just being with friends makes me so happy, especially when there's ice cream involved!

Love these two girls and I'm glad they're a part of my life.

We had another celebration for Leah's birthday so of course we decided to trash her room! My friend Ferlayna helped me out. 

The best part... we didn't have to clean it up!!

I decorated her and she doesn't look too pleased, but I know she secretly liked it ;)

Her day made me happy even if she wasn't fond of the attention and probably hated me afterwards for it, but I loved it!

I know it was her day, but it made me happy to spoil her and to be able to celebrate this birthday with her.

She will probably come up in my pictures a lot for how happy she makes me all the time! She just thinks the best of me and always keeps me positive. 

Plus, she's really good at being a detective.  That's all I can say to keep her identity a secret ;)

Today was an up and down kind of day.  I hate those kind of days.  Technology hates me, I wanted to pull my hair out, I'm stressing about looking for jobs... all the usual stuff.  

I needed to find something to make me happy today and was thinking I wouldn't be able to, but luckily for me, my best friend Leah came in and saved the day without even realizing it.  I love her and I can never stay down when I'm around her.  If I didn't have her in my life I'd go insane!!
